Being carbon neutral, or having a net zero carbon footprint, refers to achieving net zero carbon emissions by balancing a measured amount of carbon released with an equivalent amount sequestered or offset.
Insight Innovative Solutions takes being green and the environment very seriously. We are green because we want to be and not because it looks good as a marketing tactic. It's often the little things that make a big difference and for a long time, we've recycled as much of our office waste as possible. We run energy efficient computers and monitors in the office and place even more concern on energy efficient servers. Reducing the amount of power we use as a company reduces our overall electricity intake, and helps reduce the burning of fossil fuels, the increase in CO2 output and all the negative climate changes associated with this.
“Actions speak better than words” which is aptly what we follow. We as a team at IIS have taken the initiative on being a carbon neutral company. Our internal policies ensure that in what ever small way we can contribute to being carbon neutral would only contribute to the world at large and we take pride in that, we have contributed our little part.

Anyone who has studied the carbon cycle will know, trees provide the invaluable balance by taking in carbon dioxide during photosynthesis and releasing oxygen. Without trees, the human race would not exist. We are proud and very humbled to be able to contribute to such a worthwhile cause as this. |
